Congratulations Graduates (who also happened to have ADHD)

Congratulations Graduates!

Last weekend your Facebook wall was probably filled with photos of people you know in caps and gowns. And if you just graduated and your life was a TV commercial, this is what it might sound like:

[Insert your name here] you’ve just received your diploma, what are you going to do next?

And you’d answer: “I’m going to Disney Land!”

The high you feel when you graduate is well deserved and Disney knows that people want to celebrate their achievements. As well you should!

The diploma or certificate you receive when you graduate from high school, trade school, college, or graduate school represents a lot of hard work, perseverance, countless numbers of small successes and even a few failures. And we at Edge know how hard you have worked!

So take this moment, soak it in. You have a lot to be proud of.

Close your eyes and really experience how great it feels and lock it away in your memory.

And if you find yourself crashing, bored or depressed in the coming weeks, don’t worry. It’s natural to feel a letdown after such as massive achievement. Don’t let it stall your plans. Sure take a some time and enjoy yourself.  Then buckle down and get back to the business of life. Remember your next goal will take as much time, work and energy – or even more so – than this milestone did, but the end result is totally worth it.  And count on it, you’ll feel this good when you accomplish your next goal.

What’s on your horizon?
