Mickey (Michelle) Pierce was introduced to Edge coaching via a call for community volunteers in Tacoma, WA. As a summer volunteer working with middle school students in Tacoma Public Schools, she experience firsthand the power of one on one individual coaching and was hooked. Now in the role of Relationship Manager she works across the district with plans to extend the reach of Edge coaches in the region.
Prior to working with Edge Foundation, Mickey worked in marketing for high tech firms BlockNKey, Microsoft and In-Com Data Systems.. Her educational qualifications include a BA in Social Ecology from University of California, Irvine and Certificate in Non Profit Management from University of Washington.
