Continuing Education for Coaches offered in June 2014

Edge Foundation is delighted to introduce our new Career Services Specialty Training Program. This is the first and only training program designed to provide you with the skills to help your clients with job related issues and job or career change.

The dates for the next series start on June 26th.  Classes start at 11:30 am, EDT and run for two hours for 6 continuous weeks ending August 7th.  If those dates do not work we are offering another training in the fall starting October 16th.You can be at the pool and learn via teleclass, and earn 13 CCEU’s while doing it!

We have two seasoned veteran trainers delivering the training. Wilma Fellman, the author of Finding a Career That Works For You, has created this training to give students the chance to learn with a Master.  Wilma has been coaching for over 30 years, and is enthusiastic about sharing what it takes to help ADHD clients figure out the right match for a job and career.

Victoria Roche has partnered with Wilma Fellman and the Edge Foundation to provide Edge Coaches with exceptional training opportunities.  Victoria is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF). She is an ADHD Coach that specializes in vocational counseling with high school and college students, and career coaching with ADHD adults.

Learning & Skill Development Included:

• Philosophy of Career Development
• How to use personality and other assessments with clients
• How to help clients pinpoint work place issues through the use of a work history assessment
• Collection and analysis of the information collected from all assessments
• Helping clients develop a resume and learn strategies for the interview process.

Upon completion of the training, participants with receive 13 CCEU credits approved by ICF and a certificate indicating you have earned CSS credentials.
