A Northwest native of Portland, Oregon, Judy Feinerman has a career background in both Journalism/ Advertising and Education with a B.S. from the University of Oregon.
She worked as an Advertising Copywriter in L.A. before obtaining her Masters Level Teaching Credential from UCLA. She taught in both the L.A. Unified and Beverly Hills School Districts, later moving back to the Pacific NW, where she taught with the Issaquah School District. Judy also served 10 years as Marketing Rep. for Substitute Online, a software company serving teacher/sub teacher scheduling operations. As well, she spent time in her family’s Sales Rep. organization as Account Executive, working with accounts such as Amazon, Costco, etc.
She has served as both President and Vice President for Childrens’ Response Center in Bellevue, WA, a Washington/Harborview Hospital sponsored non-profit, advocating for abused children as they navigate the Court system. As the parent of a son who dealt with ADHD, she understands the challenges these children face, and the importance of hands-on efforts to steer through those waters.
